There are rare times when you can say that an experience was "life changing". For me, that description applies unequivocally to my session with Artists on the Move. It was a memorable week of friendship, painting, learning, and artistic growth. One unique aspect of AOTM is the care Neva takes in order to individually lead each student to exceed their potential. The island of Paros is an inspirational backdrop and Neva provides the instruction, critique, and guidance that develop into a life-changing experience. For that, I thank her and the opportunity to spend a week in paradise.

Artists on the Move is an experience of a lifetime. The town of Paroikia, with its plaka-stone streets and white buildings, provide the most gorgeous of settings. Getting to paint in a beautiful place like this was incredible. I was able to experience Greece feeling like a local rather than as a tourist. Neva made me feel at home and I will in no doubt travel back to the island as soon as I get another chance. Artists on the Move is the perfect program for anyone looking to get the inside view of an amazing island and enrich their passion for art.

I highly recommend a visit to Paros with Artists on the Move! The instructor, Neva Bergemann, takes a genuine interest in the needs of her students. Discovering that I had an interest in animals, she modified the schedule and took me to a friend's house to do some sketching who had some goats and a donkey. I came away with some wonderful material for paintings and prints. And... of course, the island of Paros is fantastic! I rented a little scooter and in the afternoons I would pack up my art supplies and head out for my own painting session, enjoying the exploration of the island. It is certainly a week I will never forget!

I so enjoyed my week doing this art course in July 2019. Neva is a fantastic and inspiring teacher, from whom I learnt a lot and received so much support. It was a mixed group of ability and painting medium, and we traveled to a different location every day, where we had the added bonus of Neva giving us a little guide of the area. I’ve been to many Greek islands, but never Paros before, and it really is a wonderful place, with beautiful beaches, sea and scenery, a diverse restaurant scene and many gorgeous views to paint. I’ve done more painting since the course, feeling much knowledgeable and confident in my abilities. Thank you Neva!
